People Leadership · Onboarding · Training & Enablement · Cross-Functional Leadership

I turn complexity into experiences people can actually use.

I'm ReNae Schramm. I lead people, navigate complexity, create clarity, and build experiences that help teams move forward. The work takes different shapes: an onboarding program, a team that needs direction, a process nobody could untangle. It's always about people.

What I Bring

Four capabilities, one thread: people

Every role I've held asked something different of me. These are the capabilities that carried through all of them.

01

People Leadership & Development

I've led frontline teams, developed future leaders, and coached through growth, resistance, and change. I see potential before people see it in themselves, and I've turned that into promotions, new roles, and lasting confidence.

02

Onboarding & Enablement

Great onboarding builds capability in layers. I design learning that meets people where they are and helps them build confidence quickly, whether that's a classroom, a job aid, or hands-on practice with real work.

03

Cross-Functional Leadership

As a Target project manager I worked across the business, partnering with IT, legal, operations, and vendors. I delivered a compliant cloud storage solution and kept long-term regulatory work moving through years of changes.

04

Change & Implementation

New systems only matter if teams can actually use them. I plan the people side of change as carefully as the technical side: clear communication, practical training, and support that helps people actually use what's changing.

Selected Work

Proof, organized by capability

Short stories that show how I lead, build, and help teams move forward. These aren't one-time wins; they're the skills I bring to every team I join.

Onboarding · ADP

Rebuilt new-hire training adopted department-wide

I joined ADP in a role that didn't exist yet, with no payroll background, on a team that was hoping for someone with payroll experience. I took the new-hire training myself, found the gaps, and rebuilt the program. It was later adopted across the department.

People Development · Target

Created a path from non-exempt specialist to exempt Business Systems role

A senior specialist wanted to make a significant jump into an exempt Business Systems role without following the traditional progression. I proposed a 90-day developmental assignment, secured approval from both departments, and mentored her through a real Business Systems project. She demonstrated her readiness and was hired into the permanent role.

Capability Building · Target

Delivered training overseas, twice

Two assignments took me to India. The first I volunteered for: nothing existed yet, so I built the training for a brand-new quality monitoring team and spent two weeks in Bangalore facilitating it across language and cultural differences. The second time they came to me, asking me to train a vendor team we were onboarding in New Delhi. Both earned recognition for the curriculum and for meeting aggressive timelines.

Accessibility · Target

Made the system work for every agent

An agent with a visual impairment was hired into the contact center and needed an accessibility accommodation to use our systems and take calls. I secured the vendor, wrote the business requirements, and managed the relationship through testing with the agent. What we built became the new standard, not a one-time fix.

Program Leadership · Target

Untangled a regulation that kept changing

What started as a California address law became a multi-state requirement that kept shifting. As the subject matter expert, I partnered with legal, compliance, and our system teams on every change, then communicated each one through procedure updates, alerts, or site-wide training. The result was an automated, cost-effective solution and an award for quick execution, innovative thinking, and navigating ambiguity.

Leadership · ADP

Led two teams through peak-season growth

When peak season hit, a 15-person seasonal team came on board across Tempe and Virginia, and all of them reported to me. I trained and supported them while still backing my core team of 12 to 15, whose leader was off-site. Close to 30 people were counting on me at the busiest time of year.

How I Work

How I work when the work gets complicated.

01

Integrity comes first.

It's my number one value. I do what I say I'll do, I tell the truth early, and I'd rather surface a hard thing than sit on it.

02

I see the pattern.

I notice what others often miss. I listen for what's underneath, ask the questions that create clarity, and reflect back what I'm seeing so people can act on it.

03

I develop people on purpose.

I want to understand what someone is good at, what motivates them, and where they want to grow. When I see an opportunity that fits, I help them step toward it.

04

I show up when it matters.

When someone's carrying something heavy, it changes how they move through the day. I pay attention, I ask, and I don't walk away. People remember who stood with them when things got hard.

05

I synthesize.

I've always been a bit of a blender. Ideas, teams, processes, disciplines. Give me pieces from different worlds and I'll hand you back something coherent.

Leadership

People don't stop being human at work.

I understand that people don't leave the rest of their lives at the door when they come to work. I notice when something shifts in someone, and I create enough trust that they can find their footing and keep moving, while the work keeps moving too.

It usually starts small. Someone who always speaks up goes quiet, or the energy in the room changes. I ask, and I pay attention to what's underneath. Then we work through the options together, and I advocate for them the way I'd want someone to advocate for me. People came to me when life got hard, at work and outside it, because they knew I'd treat the whole person, not just the role.

Seeing what people can become is the other half of it. The most resistant person on my ADP team became someone I championed: she took over the training program, earned a Team Lead role after I left, and we're still in each other's corner today. That experience shaped how I lead: people respond when they feel seen, trusted, and genuinely supported.
